Noah has over a decade of experience designing and delivering custom leader development programs for clients including Comcast, ExxonMobil, FedEx, Kroger, Merck, MetLife, Owens Corning, Samsung, multiple hospital systems, and all branches of the US Military. Noah received the teacher of the year award at Duke University and taught the most popular and highest rated elective at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill’s business school for eight years.
Noah’s consulting work spans the public and private sector. In the public sector, Noah consults as a strategic advisor on large acquisitions for the US Department of Defense. Noah helps acquisition teams develop the goals and priorities for each acquisition, the negotiation strategy that will best achieve those goals, and the internal communications procedures that support the implementation of that strategy. Noah’s private sector consulting focuses on digital transformation and internal improvement. Previous client work includes designing and developing an immersive multiplayer leadership simulation, implementing a machine-learning solution to reduce labor costs for a pharmaceutical company, and developing strategies for improving division performance and reducing gender-wage gaps.
Noah’s academic research focuses on negotiations, social networks, emotions, and well-being at work, in addition to methodological issues related to those topics. Administrative Science Quarterly, the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and Psychological Science have published his research.
Noah received his Master’s and PhD in Organizational Behavior from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his bachelor’s degree in Psychology, magna cum laude, from Harvard University.
