Laura Valtin


Laura works with key stakeholders across the organization to support strategic planning, organizational alignment, and cross-functional initiatives. In her current role, Laura leverages her experience with UNC Executive Development and consulting background to support and advise organizational efforts that span the lifecycle of client engagement, program delivery support, and internal operations. Starting as a Program Manager with UNC Executive Development in 2018, Laura worked in client delivery operations for a portfolio of corporate and government clients. She also served as an Associate Program Director, working directly with custom clients to co-design impactful learning solutions, tailored to client business objectives.

Prior to joining UNC Executive Development, Laura worked with Deloitte Consulting, LLP as a Human Capital Consultant, advising federal clients in the areas of strategic change, organizational and talent strategies, leadership development, learning, employee engagement, and technology adoption. She also spent time working at her alma mater, Georgetown University, supporting faculty development and student enrichment programs within the Center for New Designs in Learning & Scholarship, Georgetown’s teaching and learning center.

Laura graduated summa cum laude with a BA from Georgetown University, as double major in government and psychology.

Originally from the Northeast, Laura loves living in North Carolina and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, exercising, and of course, cheering on the Tar Heels!
