Hayley Blum

Associate Program Director

Hayley collaborates with clients to co-develop solutions that drive results in alignment with their business needs and culture. In his role, she directs every phase of the learning design process, including needs analysis, high-level and detailed design, faculty selection, program orchestration, measurement of impact, and continuous improvement.

Hayley began her career in the Bay Area, providing mental health support to high school students through Lincoln Families and to young adult learners through Year Up, a national nonprofit organization focused on workforce development. After relocating to North Carolina, Hayley worked with the Orange County Department of Social Services, supporting families through in-home services, treatment planning, and comprehensive case management.

Transitioning from direct practice to a broader systems-level focus, Hayley has partnered with enterprise healthcare organizations to advance clinical education and leadership development initiatives. Most recently, she has consulted with university systems and higher education institutions to expand and strengthen student wellness and mental health programs through strategic planning and program design.

Hayley’s work has been recognized for both impact and excellence. During her six years at Relias, she received the Healthy Debate Value Award twice from the Chief Human Resources Officer and the Customer Obsession Award three times from the Chief Customer Officer. In 2025, she was also named MVP of Enterprise Client Success by her peers.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with honors, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and a Master of Social Work from California State University, East Bay.

Originally from the Chicagoland area, Hayley spent five years in the Bay Area before settling in North Carolina’s Triangle region, where she has lived for nearly a decade. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends, taking dance classes, completing puzzles, and exploring her passion for animals and nature, especially birdwatching. She is also an active volunteer: organizing litter cleanups with Keep Durham Beautiful, coaching softball with Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation, and providing pet therapy to patients and staff at Duke with her Shih Tzu, Leo.
