Bailey is responsible for orchestrating the seamless delivery of Executive Development programs, coordinating all operational elements from inception through completion, while serving as the primary point of contact for clients, participants, faculty, and delivery partners.
Bailey has a background in language education and curriculum design. She brings more than a decade of experience helping students, families, and learning communities thrive through culturally responsive communication and intentional program development.
Before joining UNC Executive Development, Bailey spent six years teaching Spanish language and culture at the K-12 level. She later taught at North Carolina State University, where she designed and implemented curricula ranging from individual lessons to full academic courses. Her commitment to language access and cross‑cultural communication extends beyond the classroom. In 2021, she provided real-time interpretation for a political briefing and workshop hosted by the International Republican Institute for members of Tindig Filipinas. In 2017, she was awarded the SCOLT and Centro MundoLengua Scholarship to participate in an AP Spanish Language and Culture certification workshop in Seville, Spain.
Bailey holds two bachelor’s degrees from Ohio University: a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish Language and Literature, and a Bachelor of Science in Education with licensure in K-12 Spanish Education. She earned her Master of Arts in Spanish Linguistics and Literature from North Carolina State University in 2025.
A North Carolina resident since 2013, Bailey has traveled extensively for both academic and personal enrichment, with time spent in Mexico, Spain, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, and Greece. She lived in Ecuador for ten weeks during her undergraduate studies. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys creating functional wheel‑thrown pottery, baking—especially homemade apple pie—and spending time on her favorite hobby, crochet.
