Berkley Baker


Berkley is the CEO of CIMI Solutions. Berkley has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and leadership development. He has consulted with more than 100 executive teams in the implementation of disruptive technologies and leadership development. Berkley has served as the vice president of sales and business development for a healthcare technology firm, a master trainer and facilitator, and a strategic consultant for hospital systems and medical device companies. Berkley has trained over 1,000 sales, marketing, human resources, operations, engineering, finance, and other functional role leaders.

As a startup coach for the Advanced Technology Development Center at Georgia Tech, he has assisted 60-80 HealthTech startups in developing and commercializing technology and innovative solutions. He conducted sales training and mentoring activities throughout the United States and China. Berkley has counseled more than 50 hospital executive teams in the creation or expansion of over 30 robotic surgery programs. And as an officer in the United States Army, he managed equipment in excess of $50 million.

He is a professor at the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute at Georgia State University. He holds a doctorate in business from Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business, an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
