Jessica Edgar

Jessica is responsible for orchestrating the seamless delivery of Executive Development programs, coordinating all operational elements from inception through completion, while serving as the primary point of contact for clients, participants, faculty, and delivery partners.

Jessica began her career in television production and public media. At PBS North Carolina (formerly UNC-TV), she worked as a video editor for a local tourism show before being promoted to producer. In 2021, she took a detour into advertising for just over a year before realizing that the world of education was where she belonged. In early 2023, she joined UNC Executive Development as a Program Manager.

While at PBS North Carolina, Jessica was instrumental in launching and building their local children’s brand, Rootle, and building it to include not only the on-air PBS KIDS content, but the content across all of PBS North Carolina’s education services. She contributed to establishing incredibly strong brand equity for Rootle and will always have a special place in her heart for her colleagues and the work that they accomplished together during this time.

Jessica is a proud graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in international relations.

Jessica was born in Virginia Beach, VA. Because her father served in the Navy, she had the great fortune to catch the “travel bug” thanks to moving often during her youth. During her time at UNC Chapel Hill, she was a full-on marching band enthusiast and served as Drum Major for the Marching Tar Heels. GO HEELS!
