Tina Narron


Tina is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of UNC Executive Development. Her primary focus is on executing organizational strategy and vision, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving growth. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, she manages resources and implements policies and procedures to optimize performance across all departments. Her key responsibilities include managing the overall financials, improving processes, fostering collaboration between departments, and monitoring key performance indicators to ensure the organization meets its objectives.

Tina has 30 years of experience with UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. For the majority of her career with UNC, she has worked in various roles within Executive Development, including marketing, business development, finance, human resources, operations, and Interim President. Prior to joining UNC, she worked for twelve years in the financial services industry in banking and retail brokerage.

Tina has been actively involved in the International University Consortium for Executive Education (UNICON) and was on the board for six years. She served as chair of the board from July 2017 to July 2018 and is an Emeritus Board Member.

Tina attended Middle Tennessee State University and the American Institute of Banking. She has completed numerous executive development courses focused on leadership, negotiations, marketing, and finance.

Tina and her husband live in Durham. In her spare time, she works on improving her amateur photography skills and loves all things sports-related — especially the Tar Heels.
