Marilyn Malphrus


Marilyn is responsible for orchestrating the seamless delivery of Executive Development programs, coordinating all operational elements from inception through completion, while serving as the primary point of contact for clients, participants, faculty, and delivery partners. She also delivers programs internationally in Singapore and Portugal.

Prior to joining UNC Executive Development, Marilyn worked as a Student Support Specialist at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Greenville, SC. In this role she was responsible for facilitating and implementing academic support programs, and assessments for students in grades 6-12. Prior to St. Joseph’s, Marilyn worked for Enterprise Holdings in Greenville, SC and Savannah, GA where she discovered her passion for employee development, negotiating and client relationships. Marilyn Started at UNC Executive Development in November 2022 as a Program Coordinator and was promoted in July 2023 to Program Manager.

Marilyn received her BA in Business Management from Belmont Abbey College, in Charlotte, NC, where she played four years of NCAA basketball.

Marilyn lives in Chapel Hill and enjoys spending her free time with her spoiled pup, Luna, and Bearded Dragon, Lt. Dan. Outside of work, she loves being outdoors, painting, spending time with her friends, and starting new DIY projects. Coaching and mentoring girls in basketball has always been a priority for her. Marilyn has coached JV, Varsity, and travel basketball in 3 states.
