Lara Ratkovic

Lara collaborates with clients to co-develop solutions that drive results in alignment with their business needs and culture. In her role, Lara directs every phase of the learning design process, including needs analysis, high-level and detailed design, faculty selection, program orchestration, measurement of impact, and continuous improvement.

In her most recent role as director of strategy at the Family Leadership Center, Lara led the creation of their flagship product from concept to launch. She managed a cross-functional team, established a vision and goals for products and programs, and oversaw execution, including content development and engagement strategies. Prior to this, Lara served as director of programming, where she designed and co-led parent education programs, including the development of their first self-paced digital courses.

Before joining the Family Leadership Center, Lara held key leadership roles at Gap International, a global leadership consulting firm. As director of leadership performance programming, she led a team in developing and delivering a premier executive training program for C-suite leaders. She also has experience working with energy sector leaders and consulting for Fortune 500 companies.

Lara graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in linguistics.

Following in her father’s footsteps, who played golf for UNC, Lara developed a love for all things Tar Heel. In her personal life, Lara enjoys golf (though she considers herself a novice), and spending time with family and friends. She, her husband, and their two children live in Durham, having relocated from Philadelphia after 17 years living in the city’s vibrant downtown.
