
Emily collaborates with clients to co-develop solutions that drive results in alignment with their business needs and culture. In her role, she supports all phases of the learning design process, including high-level and detailed design, faculty selection, program orchestration, measurement of impact, and continuous improvement.
Before joining UNC Executive Development in 2019, Emily worked at Spencer Stuart, a global executive search and leadership advisory firm in Washington, DC. There, she supported searches in the biopharmaceuticals, global development, and social enterprise practices, and served as a project manager for CEO and other C-suite level searches. Prior to working at Spencer Stuart, Emily was a scheduler for a United States Senator on Capitol Hill. Her first year out of college was spent with the Capital Area Food Bank, where she served as an AmeriCorps volunteer managing a local fresh produce grant program.
Emily received her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in an English and political science double major.
Emily is originally from eastern North Carolina and loves spending time on the water. In her free time, she enjoys live concerts and hiking, and is always looking for great podcast recommendations.
