Elexsa Sobers

As a dedicated and experienced human resources professional, Elexsa brings a unique perspective shaped by her professional background and community involvement. She is deeply committed to nurturing employee development and is passionate about cultivating positive environments in both community and workplace settings.

Elexsa’s career began as an HR representative at a technology start-up, where she played an integral role in expanding the company’s HR functions as it grew from 50 to over 500 employees. After several years in the corporate world, she took a hiatus to focus on raising her three daughters. During this period, she remained actively engaged in the community through volunteer roles with organizations such as the Mountainview Elementary School PTA, Prince William County Animal Services, Capstone Academy, DeKalb County Animal Services, and Alley Cats and Angels of NC. During this time, she also collaborated with a team to implement a global studies program at a local elementary school. This initiative aimed to enhance children’s awareness of diversity by facilitating the sharing of customs and cultures among peers.

Elexsa holds an associate degree from Valencia College and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from Webster University. In her personal time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her family and pets, indulging in reading, and engaging in DIY home improvement projects. These activities reflect her love for continuous learning and creativity, which she brings into her professional endeavors.
