On November 16, 2023, President Robert Beck of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) joined UNC Executive Development facilitators and faculty to celebrate the newest graduates of the Advanced Leadership Institute program.

This intensive program is delivered in person at the Rizzo Center executive education campus in Chapel Hill, NC. MCAA executives learned “leading-edge strategies” designed to enhance their leadership capabilities, team dynamics, and business acumen from instructors including Chris Bingham, Mabel Miguel, and Al Segars of UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.

MCAA’s leaders commend the program, noting that it has significantly enhanced not only their organization but also the entire mechanical contracting industry. They report that it has transformed participants “from a group of strangers into a cohesive community…. As they departed, they carried with them not only new tools for their leadership toolbox but also a robust network of peers for ongoing collaboration and growth.”
